Welcome to the official site of the Athea Motorcycle Road Racing Club Ltd. 2008. Our sincerest thanks to all those who participated last year, both riders and spectators. Road Racing in the South West of Ireland was a tremendous success with the Village of Athea welcoming crowds estimated at 18,000 spectators according to the local police.
Our prize money has increased again on last year and we have made it well worth while to make the trip down south. New riders are always very wecome.
We still have the same paddock and as before, all medical requirements are in place, 5 ambulance plus crews, 4 doctors (2 which are Kerry County Hospital accident emergency doctors) on both days.
Please purchase a programme at the road race. These programmes will be available on both days, purchure will fund the event in 2008.
We look forward to seeing you in Athea in June and we will do our utmost to ensure that you have an enjoyable and safe weekend.

Directions from Dublin
From Dublin follow the main Dublin to Limerick road. Approaching Limerick follow signs for N20 to Cork. Then once you pass Limerick City follow signs N21 for Tralee/Killarney. Drive the N21 to Abbeyfeale town. At Leen's Hotel in Abbeyfeale - turn right - drive straight 4 miles to Athea.
Car Parking
Car parking in 2008 will strictly be in the parking lots on the outskirts of the village. Please follow directions of the Garde to car parking lots.
